salaryman quiz

This commonly seen scene seen on Japanese trains seemingly seems innocent enough. But it's not.

For one of these salarymen is actually dead. That's right, on their way home one of these guys drifted into a light sleep before passing peacefully away, moving on to that great office in the sky (where 20-hour working days are the norm).

So go ahead and see if you can guess which salaryman is slowly decomposing...

I think it's the third one on the left because he looks the happiest...

It must be D...

A's neck is clearly broken, I think it's him.

On Sunday, 02 September, 2007, Anonymous Anonymous said:

I'd also say that it's probably the D .

got to be f as the rest of them have there arms crossed and he doesn't. id be interested to know how the photographer knew the guy was dead.

Ahh, clever - its a trick question. I reckon they're all dead.

Well, maybe with the exception of "F"...looks like he's squinting at something tiny down there, so he can't be dead.

What do I win?

It's either B or D...

But will you give us the answer??? Cause I won't sleep until I know!!! This is a bit scary too, and sad.

wow. scarcasm is lost on some isn't it.

Methinks the answer is B, D, and E simultaneously. Why? They're actually a hit squad, and their latest salaryman victim has been dismembered and stuffed into their three bags. Yup.

Dying while sleeping on the train sure beats dying while jumping in front of it.
Anyway I recognize the symptoms, and F clearly is the deadest. You can see how his tie has choked him to death, poor bastard....

Hey, no fair! This was updated with letters over their heads after I had already commented! :P

Now that everyone below me acted like this was real, my first post seems like I was taking this seriously as well.

I just chose F because he's in a different position than anyone else.

I don't think this was real, guys. =P

I don't know about you guys, but in my home country (in Scandinavia) it has happened that people have been found dead in public transportation vehicles. They have just peacefully died away.

Though I wonder if this one above is a actual picture. An Englisman, do tell us...

I reckon they're all wax dummies and this photo was taken at the Kansai Museum of Commuting.

Rigormortis clearly has set in on D so it is him.

On Wednesday, 05 September, 2007, Blogger Matt said:

I think C is the least dead, with the others in varying stages of mortality.

Incidentally, thanks for your comment on my blog! I feel like I've arrived...

I agree with Michaels, it is a trick question. They are all dead.

On Friday, 07 September, 2007, Anonymous Anonymous said:

... or they all wish they were dead

On Sunday, 09 September, 2007, Blogger Taro 3Yen.com said:

I'm sure the smell of their breath is enough to legally pronounce them all dead.

On Monday, 10 September, 2007, Blogger jon said:

it is F. a dead man cannot keep his head back on a train. a dead man cannot keep his arms or legs crossed.

On Monday, 10 September, 2007, Anonymous Anonymous said:

I think its "F"

On Wednesday, 12 September, 2007, Anonymous Anonymous said:

None.
If any of them were dead, where's the shit and piss trail underneath them form the sphincter muscles relaxing and letting it all go? (yeah, that's right folks, that's the part you never see in the movies)
