lax landscaping

Japanese gardens are are known the world over for their attention to detail and artistic use of plants, stone and water features.

However, with some landscaped gardens, recreational drugs have clearly been involved.

It seems likely that the centrepiece of the garden is a copy of the Manneken Pis statue....

....but he's had his flowing hose covered with a baby's jacket so as not to cause any embarrassment among people who might be embarrassed by flowing hoses....

But the best part is an unexpected appearance by Donald Duck. A very nice touch indeed....

I do believe that is a Baby Donald Duck...

The baby jacket is obviously a misguided attempt to hide the wee lad's embarrassment for turning the water that shade of nuclear green. I suspect that he's been drinking that cucumber pepsi!

This is just hilarious. I'll bet the same people who came up with the design for this landscape participate in "air dinner" contests, the latest craze to hit Japan where people pretend to eat dinner while onlookers try guess what they are eating. Must be all of that air dinner going to their heads.

I'm wondering what is in the water that has made it so green.
