big bird invasion

Everywhere I go in Osaka, I keep finding the characters from Sesame Street beaming at me with their toothless grins and ping-pong-ball eyes. On a subway train, they're advertising real estate. Then I saw them on a container of gum. I can't see a connection. I could understand it if Big Bird was on the sign of a yakitori shop, but gum? And real estate?

At a wild guess the gum's for kids.

A long time ago i had winney da pooh on my bank card though due to the quailty of the service Mickey Mouse would've been more apt.

Surely big bird doesn't have enough teeth to chew gum!
