boogie on down!
Fuji Rock can claim to be the biggest music event in Japan, but Osaka steadfastly refuses to play second fiddle. This year's Fuji Rock played host to biggies such as Coldplay, Beck and Fat Boy Slim. So what? Stand aside Fuji, for this weekend Osaka plays host to the first ever Has-Beens Big Summertime Showcase Special.
A-long-time-ago-famous Showaddywaddy are headlining the jamboree, and if they can survive to the end of their set without keeling over in this stifling humidity, they'll be finishing up with the rip-roaring Under the Moon of Love. I'm telling you now, it's going to be talked about for days to come. I've seen the venue! The stage is set! Cast open the gates! Dim the lights! Crank up the volume! LET'S bloody ROCK!
