parties for passengers

Ticket prices on JR trains are generally higher than those of other railway companies in Japan because of the extra services which they offer, such as ticket inspectors who bow at either end of the carriage, and shoe shiners who'll buff up your footwear free of charge.

JR's latest offering comes in response to a survey they conducted last month. When passengers were asked what single thing would most improve their JR experience, the overwhelming response was "parties".

As a result, JR are now putting on fun parties which include free wine and beer along with a selection of light dips.

Parties kick off on the hour, every hour, and passengers must wait in the designated area until an official comes to collect them.

JR's latest offering: parties for passengers.

Awesome!
London Tube should have similar one, to amuse 'always- stucked-by-delayed-trains-passengers'.

I met that man at a JR party before. The signature hat gives it away.

It seems he makes the rounds rather quickly.

The hat is a cunning party disguise...you'd never recognise him without it.
