wheelchair horror

I imagine that an incident similar to this must have occurred at one time or another in order for it to necessitate this sign being made.

As you can see, nothing has been spared in depicting the details of the tragedy. The expressions on the faces of the two hapless hikers tell the story beautifully.

At the bottom of the hill I could find no memorial, but no doubt the poor guy in the wheelchair slammed into a tree or flipped head first into a lake. So if you happen to be wheeling your wheelchair-bound friend through the woods of a summer morn, do be careful not to let go of the wheelchair when going down a really steep hill - unless you don't like him, of course.
