remarkable new flavour

In Japan there are all kinds of kit-kat flavours available besides the regular milk chocolate. We've got green tea, lemon cheesecake, and more recently, wine flavoured.

However, Nestle's latest addition to their range surprised me somewhat. Allow me to introduce the oba-san flavoured kit-kat. Oba-san is the name given to elderly Japanese women. They are the backbone of Japanese society. Never mess with an oba-san. They're extremely tough and some have tattoos on their forearms.

Still, it's not the obvious choice for a new flavour. I haven't had the chance to try one of these new kit-kats yet, so I can't really imagine what they taste like....old tights and false teeth?

Ahhh, the question is whether this is artificially flavored or did they find a new way to deal with the aging population via Soylent Green Tea Flavored Candy Bars?

Fascinating..but also seems very unpalatable.

I am dying to know... what does it taste like after all?

Don't forget ojisan, please.

I haven't seen any obasan with tatoos. This must be a strictly Osaka phenomenon. So is the oba-san flavour perhaps? ;)
