koizumi's swimming trunks

That man Koizumi deserves a medal. He's a trailblazer for sure. What other Japanese prime minister has had the courage, the guts, the balls, to suggest cutting electricity bills this summer by wearing swimming trunks to work.

When I first read this news story, I thought it was a daft idea, but when I sat down with my cup of tea and a small piece of cake, I realised it's a stroke of genius. The man isn't all hair and Elvis, he knows what he's about. Click on the photo to read the full story.
